Aurora Sanchez Saldaña, 69, of Los Fresnos, Texas passed away at Solara Hospital in Brownsville, Texas on February 9, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Saldaña; and four brothers: Manuel Sanchez, Eusebio Sanchez, Gorgoñio Sanchez, Jr., and Antonio Sanchez. She is survived by three sons: Francisco Saldaña, Reynaldo Saldaña, and Armando Saldaña; one daughter, Liliana Saldaña; one brother, Jesus Sanchez; six grandchildren: Armando Saldaña, Jr., Anjelica L. Saldaña, Reyna I. Saldaña, Eileen P. Saldaña, Devin M. Guerrero, and Juan D. Saldaña; and one great-grandchild, Lailani L. Almaraz. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. from 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Texas. Interment will follow at Saldaña Cemetery in Laureles, Texas.
