Sergio Torres, 55, of Harlingen, Texas, entered into rest on January 15, 2015 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents; Ascencion and Maria De Jesus Barrera Torres, two brothers; Margarito Torres, and Leonel Torres. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Minerva M. Torres, one son, Daniel Torres, two daughters; Yanette Torres, and Delia Torres, two brothers; Alvaro Torres, and Lazaro Torres, two sisters; Alma Delia Torres and Adela Torres, and several nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow Ashland Cemetery in Harlingen, TX.
