Obituary of SAN JUANA VARGAS

San Benito, TX- San Juana Vargas, 88, of San Benito, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 6, 2011 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Vargas; two sons: Jose M. Vargas and Francisco Vargas; one daughter, Carmen Vargas; and four sisters: Manuela Pinon, Seferina Gonzales, Virginia Miranda, and Juana Reyes. She is survived by her daughters: Delfina (Oscar) Vargas, Maria (Gerardo) Manzano, Amelia (Patrick) Vargas, Josefina Vargas, and Martha Vargas; her son, Bernardino (Rosie) Vargas; two brothers: Juan (Carmen) Mendoza and Chencho Nerio; her daughters-in-law: Adelaida M. Vargas and Lupe Vargas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Committal service to follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
