Obituary of Guadalupe Farias

Guadalupe C. Farias, 89, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal rest on October 24, 2014. She was born in March 21, 1925. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gabriel Cavazos and Crisanta Vento Cavazos; and a daughter, Oralia Garcia; a sister Berta Cavazos and 4 brothers, Rogerio, Raul, Rosendo, and Rangel Cavazos She is survived by her loving husband, Jesus H. Farias; her children: Arturo (Diana) Farias, Lydia (Amador) Saldivar, Abelardo (Ludim) Farias, Celia (Jim) Kuiken, and Rene (Sylvia) Farias; one sister, Benita Cavazos Vento; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas You may sign the online guestbook and send words of comfort, flowers, or sympathy cards to the family of Guadalupe C.
