Maria Guadalupe "Lupita" Garza, 49, of Los Fresnos, Texas, entered into eternal rest on October 22, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother, Benita C. Barrera; and her nephew, Aaron Yanez. She is survived by her husband, Francisco Javier Garza; her father, Nicolas Barrera; her children: David Guadalupe Garza, Patsy Jo Garza, and Christopher Javier Garza; one grandson, Bradlee Garza; and siblings: Juanita B. (Juan J.) Yanez, Nicolas (Rosie) Barrera, Jr., and Elizabeth (Hector Garcia) Barrera. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers: Nicolas Barrera, Jr., Rolando Garza, Gerardo Garza, Jose A. Garza, Ramiro Raul Garza, and Ramiro Garza.
