Obituary of Carlos Lopez

Carlos Alberto Lopez, 35, of Brownsville, TX passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. Carlos was a lifetime resident of Brownsville, TX. He graduated from Homer High School in 1994 and was a member of St. Felipe De Jesus Catholic Church of Brownsville, TX. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Antonio Casas; and his paternal grandparents, Francisco and Maria Del Refugio Santos-Lopez. He is survived by his parents, Jose Francisco and Rosa C. Lopez; brothers, Enrique (Marlene) Lopez of Brownsville, TX and Jose De Jesus (Amy) Lopez of Houston, TX; nieces, Camila and Samantha Lopez; maternal grandmother, Luz Sancen; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 12noon to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 10a.m. to 5p.m. at Olvera Funeral Home in Mexico. Interment will follow to Panteon Los Tomates in Matamoros, Mexico.
