Jose Demetrio Solis, 79, of Port Isabel, Texas, entered into rest on August 13, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vivian and Maria Galvan Solis.
Surviving him is his sister, Rosa Solis; and cousins, Petra (Leonel) Alaniz, Sr., Fina (Chuy) Moncivaiz, and Jesus (Theresa) Rivera.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Thomae-Garza Funeral Directors located on 395 S. Sam Houston Blvd in San Benito, Texas, 956-399-1331.
