Port Isabel, TX - Marcos Villarreal, 74, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen, Texas He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Antonia Godoy Villarreal; a sister, Inez Martinez; three brothers, Rogelio Villarreal, Alberto Villarreal and Agapito Villarreal Mr. Villarreal is survived by his half sister, Frances Martinez; five half brothers, Pedro Villarreal, Pablo Villarreal, Juan Villarreal, Roger Villarreal, Javier Villarreal and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary was recited at 7:00 P.M. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Committal service will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery. Mr. Villarreal's family will serve as his pallbearers.
