Enriqueta Flores Gomez, 85, of Laguna Heights, Texas, entered into rest on August 7, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Gomez; two sons, Humberto Gomez and Ramon Gomez; daughter, Maria Consuelo Villarreal; grandson, Daniel Gomez; granddaughter, Roxyann Medina; and her parents, Aurelio and Juanita G. Flores. She is survived by her children: Francisca Sevilla, Refugia "Cuca" Gomez, Miguel Gomez, Juan (Juanita) Gomez, Oscar (Maria del Rosario) Gomez, Beatrice Miller, Enriqueta Cundiff, and Ricardo Gomez; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Visitation will continue on Monday August 11, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m., at Bethel Baptist Church, 1200 Hwy 100, Suite 1 in Port Isabel, Texas, with Pastor George Moreno officiating. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel.
