San Benito, TX- Antonio Garcia, 80, of San Benito, TX, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Harlingen Medical Center. He lived his life with self respect, dignity, and passed those qualities onto his children. He was respected and is loved by all those that knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Eustolia Garcia; and six children: Juan Antonio (Maggie) Garcia, Flora Garcia, Ricardo (Noemi) Garcia, Jesus (Jesusita) Garcia, Daniel (Rocio) Garcia, and Javier (Maribel) Garcia. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal service will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
