San Benito, TX, - Santiaga Sanchez Alvarado., 73, of San Benito entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Valley Baptist Medical Center of Harlingen surrounded by his loving family. She was born July 25, 1937 in Durango, Mexico to the late Pedro Sanchez and Patricia Alvarado. Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband Felix Perez and her children: Sofia Rodriguez, Maria Elena Perez, Javier Perez, Fidel Perez, Ramona Perez, Angel Perez, Petra Perez and Esther Perez as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers: Genaro Sanchez, Isidro Sanchez and Ambrosio Sanchez. Visitations will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11:00 A.M at St Benedicts Catholic Church in San Benito with Interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
