Obituary of Kean Koite

Kean Kenneth Koite, 44, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away June 6, 2014 at South Padre Island, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Koite, and nephew, Michael T. DeYoung.
Surviving him is his father, Masao Koite, Sr.; siblings: Tom Koite, Masao Koite, Jr., Kim Koite, Pete Koite, Mary Koite Gonzalez, Karen "Kelly" Koite Garcia, and Nellie "Loni" Koite Gara; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, bandmates, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Cremation will follow in accordance to his wishes.
