Port Isabel, TX- David Wayne Hamblin, 44, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX. David was a life time resident of Port Isabel and a 1984 graduate of Port Isabel High School. He served proudly and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his father, Terry Gale Hamblin. He is survived by his loving wife, Isabel Camacho-Hamblin of Port Isabel; two daughters, Clarissa Hamblin and Kayla Hamblin; He is also survived by his mother, Placida Toman; step father, Jerry Toman; and one sister, Cammy (Victor) Carrillo. David is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and his dog "Chico". There will be a talk on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Memory of David Wayne Hamblin's name to St. Jude's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
