Ramiro Torres Moreno, 79, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal life on March 30, 2014 at his residence in San Benito, TX. Ramiro immigrated from Mexico and married at a young age. He raised his children and was a hardworking man. He was a crane operator in California and Texas for many years. He will be missed by all who knew him. He kept his sense of humor throughout his illness up to his final moments with his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel Moreno; parents, Santana Moreno and Rosalia Garcia; and a brother, Daniel Moreno Surviving him is his loving wife Maria Francis Moreno; his children, Gilbert (Maria Elena) De La Cruz, Maria Dolores (Ezra) Contreras Garcia, Yolanda Medellin, David (Sylvia) Moreno, Noemi (Ivan) Moreno, Ramiro (Nelda) Moreno, Jr., Jesus Enrique Moreno, and Mario (Dolores) Moreno; a brother, Roberto Moreno; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 12 noon to 9 pm, with a prayer service at 7 pm to be officiated by Pastor Mario Medrano, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
