Obituary of Regino Elisondo

Regino "Chino" Elisondo, 62, of San Benito, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Penny Jones; mother, Paula G. Garcia; stepfather, Teofilo Garcia; grandparents: Evangelina and Naraso Guerrero; and brother, Martin Cantu. Surviving him is his son: Rejino (Dora) Elizondo, Jr.; daughters: Priscilla Elizondo and Janie Jones; brothers: Eliazar "Eddie" Martinez, Santos Guillerdo "Willie" Picacio, and Ted Picacio; and sister, Maria "Mary" Cantu. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 10 am to 9 pm, with a holy rosary at 7 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Friday, February 7, 2014 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery.
