Consuelo Vega, 91, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Atrium Place in Harlingen, Texas.
Consuelo Vega was born and raised in San Benito, Texas. She married Mr. Domingo Vega in 1943.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Domingo Vega; and parents, Polo Vega and Petra Lamas.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Roberto A. (Linda)Vega; two daughters, Maria Elena Rodriguez and Norma V. (Richard) Jacquez; grandchildren: Robert Scott Vega, Nicole Vega, Belen Torres, Helen Rodriguez, Carla Rodriguez, Richard Hubbs, Valerie Morolez and Annellie Gonzales; great-grandchildren: Jarrod Vega, Keira Lopez, Amorelle Renae Hubbs, Liam Richard Hubbs, Asia Torres, Sahara Torres, and Ruby Mae Flores. She is also survived by her sister, Guadalupe Vega Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
Chapel service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
