Ruperto Bernal Alvarez, 86, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on December 14, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his son, Cesar Alvarez; parents: Leandro and Dominga Bernal Alvarez; brother Epifanio, and sister, Isabel.
He is survived by his wife, Dominga Gonzalez Alvarez; children: Nazario, Imelda, and Elvia; daughters-in-law: Martha and Silvia Alvarez; sons in law, Ernesto Trevino and Daniel Bracken; 8 grandchildren; and 2 twin great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 6:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
