Ofelia Hull Villalon, 86, of Brownsville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 22, 2013 in Harlingen, TX. Ofelia is a life long resident of Brownsville and a past member of Christ the King Catholic Church; as she served as a Eucharist Minister for many years. She was a sales woman in several clothing departments, such as Dillards, J. C. Penney, Belles, and Vogue. She is preceded in death by her parents, Celestino and Trinidad Cavazos De los Santos; her 1st husband, Valentin Hull, Sr., 2nd husband, Alfredo Villalon; a son, Valentin Hull, Jr.; a daughter, Judith Lynn Hull; two brothers, Carlos and R.C. De los Santos. Ofelia is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Nora (Sergio) Rodriguez and Elizabeth (Guillermo) Juarez; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two brothers, Celestino and Alfonso De los Santos; three sisters, Odelia Serrata, Dora Rubio, and Minerva Moraida. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 4 pm - 9pm, with a rosary at 7 pm at Garza Memorial Funeral Home, 1025 E. Jackson St, Brownsville, TX. Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2255 Southmost Rd., Brownsville, TX. Cremation will follow services in accordance with her wishes.
