Jose Antonio Martinez, 56, of Laguna Heights/Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife of 30 years, Angela Legaria Mendez Martinez; his children, Rolando Garcia, Seth Garcia, Lizbeth Fabiola Garcia, and Jose Guadalupe Garcia; grandchildren, Xochilt Martinez, Angie Garcia, Isaias Guillen, Maya Garcia, Lianna Garcia, Rolando Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Sarita Garcia, Jose Guadalupe Garcia, Jr., Gracie Garcia, Seth Garcia, Estefany Garcia, and Liana Rose Garcia; and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 12:00 am to 4:00 pm at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito and will continue from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, TX.
Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 10:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery.
