Miguel "Cowboy" Casas Jr., 41, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on October 24, 2013.
Miguel was known by many as Cowboy or Shoe Shine Cowboy. He loved socializing with the people of San Benito and offering his famous shoe shines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Miguel Casas Sr. and his wife, Maria Nicolasa Saavedra.
Surviving him is his daughter, Darleen Daniela Casas; his mother, Paula Sanchez Casas; three sisters: Gina Maria Casas Padilla, Herlinda Casa Cortez, and Elaine Casas Carrera; one grandson; as well as other relatives.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
