San Benito, TX - Alfonso Zuniga, 72, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He is preceded in death by his brother, Imeterio Zuniga. Mr. Zuniga is survived by his loving wife, Celia Zuniga of San Benito, TX; his children, Ruben I, Yolanda, Diana, Sylvia, Alfonso Jr., Rosalinda, Ruben II, Lydia, Danny, Jessie, David, Alex Faustino, Alicia, Julie, Noemi, Juanita, Alfonso III, and Benny Zuniga; 44 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Visitations will be held Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 12:00 Noon to 9:00 P.M. they will continue on Monday, May 19, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Valley International Christian Center located at 2007 E. Expwy 77/83 in San Benito. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his sons, Alfonso Jr., Ruben I, Ruben II, Daniel, David and Alex Zuniga.
