Nashville, TN - Mary Helen Cortez-Cannady, 32, passed away Wednesday May 13, 2008 At Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a native of Harlingen, Texas and resident of Nashville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her Uncle, Agustin Zepeda. She is survived by her companion, Ignacio Contreras; her children, Priscilla (Marco) Cannady- Ceja, 2 sons, Angel Garcia and Raymond Contreras; 1 granddaughter Jasmine Nicole Ceja; her parents Ramon and Josie Lopez; sister, Mary Lou Cortez; niece Mariah Ambriz; brother, Joe (Erika) Cortez; 2 aunts, Beatriz Quintana and Reynalda Barrera; an uncle, Manuel O. Zepeda. The family would like to thank her cousin and caregiver Jennifer Ann Rangel. Visitation will be held today, Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 12pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm. A Chapel Service will be held at 10 am on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Thomae- Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery in San Benito, Texas.
