John Edward "Eddie" Ferguson, Jr., 77, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at South Padre Island, Texas. Born June 8, 1936, John was raised in Foreman, Arkansas. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954- 1958. He received his Masters Degree in Education and worked for many years as a coach and school teacher before retiring from Arkansas and Texas. He was Chief Flight Instructor and Director of Community Affairs of off campus programs at Texarkana College. He was a former scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Foreman, AR. He will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Orleen Marie Ferguson and his father, John Edward Ferguson, Sr. Eddie is survived by his two children: Allen Ferguson and Dixie and Jimmy Druhan; and two grandchildren: Hunter and Christian Druhan. The family will have a private graveside ceremony.
