Obituary of Omar De La Fuente Sr

Omar De La Fuente Sr., 66, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on June 27, 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Maria Flores and Ovidio De La Fuente Sr.
Omar is survived by his two children: Omar De La Fuente Jr. and Teresa De La Fuente; brothers: Ovidio De La Fuente Jr., Oscar De La Fuente, Freddy Salazar, Eliseo Salazar Jr; and sisters: Olga Ortega, Olivia Uvalle, and Gloria Arriaga. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 2:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
