Obituary of Juanita Sifuentes

Juanita C. Sifuentes, 89, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on May 29, 2013 in San Benito surrounded by her loving family. She was a strong woman and wonderful, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Silvero Sifuentes; her parents: Felipe and Sostenes Cervantes; two sisters: Soleda Cortez and Guadalupe Machuca; and her granddaughter, Penny Jones. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Minerva Villarreal; grandchildren: Janie Jones, Rejino Elizondo, and Priscilla Elizondo. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 3, 2013 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
