Los Fresnos, TX - Kathleen "Kathy" Greta Strong, 38 of Los Fresnos, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Valley Regional Hospital in Brownsville, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of Los Fresnos and a 1988 graduate of Los Fresnos High School. She was a past manager of Smart Styling at Wal-Mart in Brownsville, also a Los Fresnos Falcon Advocate. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lester Strong; brother, Dirk Lindsay Strong; sister, Wendy Lynn Strong. Ms. Strong is survived by her loving children, Jewel Nicole Gracia of Los Fresnos, 2 sons, Jon-Robert Baxter-Kirkconnell of Brownsville and Elijah Shawn Yohola Emarthla of Los Fresnos; her loving Chihuahua, Paris; her mother, Kathleen Jewel De La Rosa of Los Fresnos; Stepfather, Jesus De La Rosa of Los Fresnos; 1 brother, Darin Lester Strong of South Padre Island, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will begin at 2 P.M. with Pastor Steve Hyde from Light House Assembly of God in Port Isabel officiating at Thomae Garza. Interment will follow to Sacred Park Crematorium.
