Rio Hondo, TX- Fausta Ernestina Alfaro, 73 of Rio Hondo, TX, passed away on March 20, 2011 at her residence surround by her loving family. She was a life resident of Rio Hondo and a member of St. Helens Catholic Church. She preceded in death by her mother 2 month ago, Ester Ramirez; Father, Inocencio Ramirez; sister, Isabel Ramirez; and her brother, Arturo Ramirez; She is survived by her loving husband, Florencio Alfaro Sr.; her loving children, Guadalupe Alfaro, Juanita (Leonel) Jimenez, Noe (Leticia) Alfaro, Guadalupe (Dave) Ogg and Florencio (Isabel) Alfaro, and David (Agripina) Alfaro; 2 sisters, Irene and Celia Ramirez; brother, Ramon Ramirez; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be held today Sunday March 20, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Visitation will continue on Monday March 21, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with Mass of Resurrection to begin at 3:00 p.m. at St. Helens Catholic Church in Rio Hondo. Cremation will follow to Sacred Park Crematorium.
