He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Milton and Leobalda Flores Moore; and one Brother, Wesley Moore Anyone that knew Richard Moore Sr. knew he loved his family. He was a man with strong family beliefs and values. He tried everyday to instill strength and wisdom to all 7 of his children. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his kids. He was an avid politician and always very strongly opinionated. You didn't have to agree with him or you didn't have to like him, but he never passed up the opportunity to talk politics with you or share his ideas on how to change the community or the world. There was never a doubt in your mind the point he was trying to get across…..you just knew what he stood for. He was lifetime resident of Port Isabel who cared about his community.
