Obituary of Eleanor Galvan

Eleanor F. Galvan, 86, of Lozano, Texas, passed away on February 17, 2013 at Atrium Nursing and Rehab in Harlingen, Texas. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Oren Zamora; and three grandchildren: Brooke Linda Medina, Aurelio Zamora, and Molly Zamora. Eleanor is survived by her son, Abelardo (Maggie) Galvan Jr.; two daughters, Eleanor Ashley and Jo Ann (Bill) Baldridge; and her grandchildren: Abel W. Galvan, Aaron M. Galvan, Adam L. Galvan, Felix Medina, Alicia Trevino, Enrique Medina, Melissa Massie, Ricardo Zamora, Raquel Zamora, Antonio Duenez, Sandra Duenez, Griselda Duenez, and Jo Anna Duenez. She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 10 am to 9 pm, with a prayer service at 7 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. A chapel service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Las Yescas Cemetery.
