San Pedro, TX: Feliciano Tapia, 77, passed away Monday, February 18, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He was a native of La Encantada, Texas and long time resident of San Pedro, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfredo and Ramona Tapia. His wife of 51 years Hilda C. Tapia; a daughter, Yolanda Tapia; 3 brothers and a sister. He is survived by his children, Juan Antonio (Angie) Tapia, Ramona (Jorge) Moncada, Angelita Tapia and Christopher Crawly Tapia; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 12 pm to 9 pm with a rosary at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2pm at San Pedro Mission Catholic Church. Committal service will follow to Tapia Family Cemetery in San Pedro, Texas. Pall bears will be Jerry Benavidez, Robert Benavidez, Jimmy Benavidez, Juan Alfredo Tapia, Alfredo Tapia, Jesus Tapia, Juan Alfredo Benavidez and Marco Tapia. Honorary pall bears will be Jesus Antonio Mancada and Jose Manuel Benavidez Jr. Words of comfort may be sent to Tapia family www.thomaegarza.com.
