Obituary of Virginia Gentry Putty

Los Fresnos, TX - Virginia Lou Gentry Putty, 89, daughter of Dolos Otto Gentry and Joaquina Vela De La Vega de Balli, passed peacefully on September 15, 2012 in Utah with her family by her side. She grew up at Laguna Seca Ranch and was a longtime resident of Lubbock, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ross Horace Putty, brother Richard Raymond Gentry, sister-in-law Geneva Ruth Gentry, nephew Richard Raymond Gentry Jr., and son-in-law Anthony Edward Weary Sr. She is survived by her here children: Cyndee Lou (Curt) Landes, Eddie Ross (Twynette) Putty, and Millie Ray Weary; and nephew Robert Milton Gentry. She had nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on January 5, 2012 at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church, 606 W. Ocean Blvd in Los Fresnos, Texas. Private burial will be held at Laguna Seca Ranch in the family cemetery.
