Lupe Villarreal Jr, 51, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on December 11, 2012 at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Lupe Villarreal Sr. Lupe is survived by his mother, Delfina Villarreal of San Benito; wife Blanca Flores; stepson Samuel Flores Jr; two stepdaughters, Esmeralda and Monica Flores all of Harlingen; six grandchildren; four sisters: Esmeralda (Jr) Noriega, Maria Luisa (Basilio) Garcia, Juanita (Edmundo) De La Garza, and Dora (Ruben) Morales; and three brothers: Gilberto Villarreal, Francisco (Anna) Villarreal, and Jesus Villarreal. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
