San Benito, TX - Maria Del Jesus Corona, 64, of San Benito, TX went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reynaldo and Cecilia Rodriguez Lugo Sr.; two sisters, Cecilia Lugo and San Juanita Lugo. She is survived by her children, Norma Lisa Corona, Jenny Lee Corona, and Norberto Corona Jr.; eight grandchildren; ex-husband, Norberto Corona Sr.; three sisters; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitations will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito, TX. Committal service will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
