Obituary of Pedro Bejarano, Jr.

Pedro Bejarano Jr., 64, has gone fishing with the Lord on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Pedro was born in Lubbock, TX on January 2, 1960, to Pedro Bejarano and Maria Guadalupe Hernandez Bejarano.  Pedro married the love of his life on March 23, 1977.  They were married for 47 years and had 3 children.

Pedro was a loving husband, father and the greatest Grandpa and Great Grandpa the kids could ever ask for.  He loved fishing, hunting and being outdoors.  He worked in construction most of his life and met a lot of good friends along the way.  He enjoyed time with family watching western shows and loved eating pineapple upside down cake, strawberry shortcake, ice cream and cooking.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jose Daniel Bejaran; parents, Pedro Bejaran, and Maria Guadalupe Hernandez Bejarano; and brother, Eduardo H. Bejaran.

He is survived by his wife, Petra Ayala Bejarano; sons, Pedro Bejarano III (Maribel Lopez Bejaran) and Ruben Bejaran (Jessica Angela Bejaran); sister, Sylvia Bejaran-Gomez (Guadalupe “Nally” Gomez); 6 grandchildren, Jose Daniel Bejaran Jr. (Victoria Lonas Bejaran), Klarissa Bejaran, Kimberly Bejaran, Pedro Bejaran IV, Karla Bejaran and Karina Bejaran; 3 great grandchildren, Daniel James Bejaran, Alessia Jade Bejaran, and Baby Bejaran; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, 3:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A Chapel Service will be on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with a burial to follow to San Benito City Cemetery in San Benito, Texas.

Honored to be serving as Mr. Bejarano’s Pallbearers are Jose Daniel Bejaran Jr., Pedro Bejaran IV, Jorge Salinas, Jorge Salinas, Jorge Alvarez, Fidel Bejaran and Danny Chapa. Honorary pallbearers are Pedro Bejaran III and Ruben Bejaran.
