Maria M. Carrillo, 81, of San Benito, TX passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Juan C. Carrillo; 2 sons, Juan (Diane) Carrillo, Jr. and Michael (Lisa) Carrillo; 2 daughters, Cynthia Shaw (Jay Vessey) and Suzanne (Dale) Gonzales; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. In addition, she is survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 25, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S. Bowie St, San Benito, TX 78586 with entombment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Mausoleum.
