Joel Robledo Trevino, 80, of Porter, TX passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Lawrence Street Health Care Center, Tomball, TX. Joel, a devoted husband to his beloved late wife Dolores, passed away peacefully after a long and fulfilling life. He spent his career as a long-haul truck driver, a job that took him across the country and filled his life with countless stories and experiences. Despite the long hours on the road, he always made time for the things he loved, watching western movies, listening to old trucker country music and spending time with his grandchildren. Joel deeply loved his children and grandchildren, offering support and love in his own unique way. Though often perceived as grumpy, he had a sarcastic sense of humor that could catch anyone off guard with his wit and sharpness. His jokes and unexpected humor brought joy and laughter to those around him. Joel’s memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, who will always cherish the moments spent together and the laughter he brought into their lives. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:00 a.m. and Chapel Service thereafter at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A procession will then follow to Mont Meta Memorial Cemetery for an 11:30 a.m. Memorial Graveside Service.
