Donald (Donnie) Vega age 44, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born December 1, 1979, in Ottawa Kansas.
Growing up he attended schools in Kansas City, MO and Ottawa Kansas and made his home in Lawrence, Kansas. Donnie’s favorite activities were gardening, remodeling houses and he was a talented artist. He will be missed and remembered always.
Donnie was preceded in death by one brother, Justin Lawrence Carlson.
He is survived by his father Richard Vega of Kansas; mother, LaDonia Greer and her husband Jerry Greer; of Oklahoma, brother Jacob Carlson of California, grandparents Donald and Miriam Carlson of Kansas, son Devlin Vega of Oklahoma, daughter Sofia Vega of Texas and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
