Robert T. Mora, 62, of Port Isabel, TX passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel and life member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. He was a deputy Police Officer for the Constable Office in Port Isabel, Police Officer for the Los Fresnos Police Department. He was a Truck Driver in the 1990’s and a member of Motorcycle Bike Club – Blue Knights Chapter XLII. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Jose Mora, and his mother, Juanita Torres Mora; brothers, Jose Angel Mora, Daniel Torres, Juan Jose Mora, Jr., Guillermo T. “Mito” Mora; and sister-in-law, Rosario V. Mora; Mother in law, Cecilia Zamora; Brother in laws, Richardo Zamora III and Jose Santos Zamora. He is survived by his companion, Gracie Soto; mother of children Rosa Maria Mora, children, Robert (Jessica Marie) Mora Jr., Juan Ricardo (Rebekah Marie) Mora, Randy Mora, Janice Elizabeth Mora, Ashley Rose (Johnny Aby) Mora, Adriana Erica (Mario) Arcos, Matthew Alan Soto; 6 grandchildren; his siblings, Isabel (Jesus) Quezada, Lupita (+Guillermo T. Mora), Rolando (Rosa) Mora, Norma (Librado) Benavides, Eddie (Terry) Mora, Jorge Luis (Sylvia) Mora, and sisters-in-law, Mary (+Jose Angel) Mora, Lupita (+Guillermo) Mora, Gloria Zamora Barrientez and Brother in law, Israel Zamora Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, TX with interment to follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery.
