Robert Anthony Valdez, 31, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2024, in Harlingen, Texas. Robert was born in Fort Worth to Antonio Valdez Jr and Elizabeth Cruz on April 17, 1992. He attended Port Isabel High school and graduated in 2010. He worked as an assistant manager for Security Finance. He enjoyed being with his daughters and family, working on his truck and watching football. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. He is preceded in death by his grandma Hortencia Valdez, grandpa Antonio Valdez, aunt Estella Guzman. Robert is survived by his daughters; Hayden and Skylar Valdez; mother, Elizabeth Cruz and Father, Antonio Valdez Jr.;2 brothers; Ralph (Madianna)Valdez and Ryan Valdez (Abigail), 1 sister Araceli Valdez, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St, with a burial to follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel, Texas.
