Eugenia Perez, 62, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on February 15, 2024. She was born on January 4, 1962, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Francisco Rojo and Elodia Rubio. Eugenia was a devoted wife and mother, and the oldest of 10 children. She is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Salinas, her son Rafael Perez Jr. (Amada), her daughter Maria Lorena Perez, her daughter Felicitas Medina (Everardo), her daughter Maria Guadalupe Salinas (Daniel), her daughter Vereniz Treviño (Jacob), and her daughter Maria De Jesus Martinez (Christian), and Rafael Perez Hernandez, father of her six children. Eugenia was also a cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Eugenia had a passion for gardening and spent many hours tending to her plants. She found joy in nurturing life and watching her garden flourish. Eugenia's life will be celebrated and remembered by her family and friends. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February, 20 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A Chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February, 23, 2024, at Thomae Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
