Manuel "Manny" Vasquez, 62, of Harlingen, TX entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. Manuel “Manny” was a loving father, husband, papa, brother, and son. He was a man who was strong in his faith. He loved to always be around his family, friends and his bbq pit. We will forever miss his presence, his jokes, and the love he showered us in daily. He is preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo Vasquez Sr., beloved aunts, Beatrice Sanchez Garcia and Carmen Sanchez Garcia. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Renee Vasquez; loving daughters, Amanda Vasquez, Sara (Matthew) Flores, and Jessica (Adolfo) Guerra; mother, Ernestina Garcia Vasquez; brothers, Rolando (Olga) Vasquez, Rodolfo Vasquez Jr. and sisters, Martha Sanchez and Hope (Jose) Velasquez. In addition, he is survived by his beloved grandchildren, Ryan and Olivia Flores and Noah and Luke Guerra. Manny is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. and a Memorial Service to immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.
