Maria Del Socorro Saucedo, 85, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2012. She is preceded in death by her father, Geronimo Carrizales; mother, Dominga Saldana; and grandson, Jimmy Saucedo. Maria is survived by her husband, Jose Saucedo; seven sons: Francisco (Ignacia) Saucedo, Jose (Carmen) Saucedo Jr, Idelfonso Saucedo, Israel (Graciela) Saucedo, Jesus (Elida) Saucedo, Edelmiro (Maria) Saucedo, and Tony (Christina) Saucedo; and one daughter, Maria Guadalupe Gonzales. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm, on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
