Corpus Christi - Baby Joaquin Mateo Villegas went to spend Christmas with Jesus Monday, December 24, 2007, at Christus Spohn South Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Baby Joaquin is survived by his parents, Samuel and Laura Villegas in Corpus Christi, Texas; Maternal Grandparents, Carlos and Berta Barbosa, and uncles Omar and Jaime Barbosa of Los Fresnos, Texas; Paternal Grandmother, Manuela Garcia, aunts Sandra and Sarah Garcia, and uncle Sergio Garcia of Bryan, Texas; Great Grandparents, Enrique and Rosa Barbosa of Los Fresnos, Texas; Great Grandparents, Amancio and Margarita Garcia of Brownsville, Texas; and Great Grandmother Otilia Villegas of Bryan, Texas.
The funeral service was held Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Texas. Interment followed to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
