Maria G. Martinez, 90, of San Benito entered eternal rest at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 25, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her husband Reynaldo Martinez, parents: Eduardo and Angelita Guevara, 2 brothers: Jose Eduardo and Enrique Guevara, and 2 sisters: Paulita Valdez and Cesaria Garcia.
Left to cherish her memory are her 10 children: Noe Mata (Rose), Blanca Cochrum (John), Maria Garcia, Reynaldo Martinez, Jr. (Hilda), Olivia Martinez, Emilio Martinez (Mary), Maricela Martinez, Sara Vasquez (Sergio), Graciela Martinez, Michelle Flores (Tim), 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters: Connie Tolento and Martha Leal.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
