Arnoldo Cortez, 67, of San Benito, TX passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX, on September 25, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio & Juanita Cortez, siblings Antonio Cortez Jr., and Monica Trevino. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Ernestina, his children Melinda Quinones, Arnoldo Cortez Jr., Mindy Cortez Barrientes, Xavier Cortez, J.T. Cortez, Veronica Resendez, Eduardo Molina Jr. and Chito Molina, along with 24 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, along with his siblings, Amelia Torres, Gloria Leija, Ramon Cortez, Irma Sauceda, and Isabel Romero. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae- Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.
