Zeferino P. Rodriguez, 71, of Rio Hondo, TX passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, peacefully in the presence of his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his father Simon Rodriguez; mother, Juanita Puente Rodriguez; sisters, Virginia Garza, and Leticia Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Inez Rodriguez; 4 children, Belinda Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, David Rodriguez and Edgar Rodriguez; 8 surviving siblings, 12 grandchildren: Ariana Martinez, Gabriel Martinez, Natalie Martinez, Cleevie Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, Rylee Rodriguez, Kelly Rodriguez, Mylee Rodriguez, Abigail Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, Selena Rodriguez, and Edgar Rodriguez, numerous nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Visitation will continue Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Burial will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in Valle Hermoso Tamps Mexico at Ejido Ignacio Manuel Altamirano.
