Eliut Gonzalez, 52, San Benito, TX passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Eliut was a kindhearted person that was always willing to help people he met and especially his friends and family. Eliut enjoyed working on his own doing small jobs such as road construction, yard work, and assisting with the family business. He also loved taking care of the cows for his dad. Eliut will be missed by his friends and family and will leave a big void in all our lives. The Gonzalez family extends special thanks to Rosi, Norma, and Jecoa with Superior Hospice for taking care of him during his illness. He is preceded in death his mother, Esther Gonzalez. He is survived by his father, Elias Gonzalez, Sr.; siblings, Elias Gonzalez, Jr. (Alma Gonzalez), Eloy Gonzalez; nephew, Elias “EG” Gonzalez, David Gonzalez; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. Chapel Service will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
