Dolores Marmolejo Garcia, 95, of San Benito, TX passed away at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Sofia Marmolejo; husband, Ruben Garcia, Sr.; 2 brothers, Juan Marmolejo, and Fernando Marmolejo, 2 sister, Guadalupe Valadez and Chelo Marmolejo. Left to cherish her memories are his children Ruben (Blanca) Garcia, Jr., Rosaura (Mario) Garcia-Salazar, Ricardo (Mary) Garcia, Rolando (Miriam) Garcia, Reymundo (Perla) Garcia; sister/sister-in-law Olivia Marmolejo and one surviving brother, Jesus Marmolejo. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Melissa Garcia, Ruben (Monica) Garcia III, Desiree Garcia, Aaron Garcia, Rolando Garcia, Jr., Adriana Soledad Garcia, Dania Rae Garcia, Alyna Rae Garcia, Cassandra Gallegos, Edgar Avila, Jennifer Avila, Allison Avila, Maria Avila and Junior Avila; great-grandchildren, Jayden Rae Garcia, and Jasmine Esperanza Garcia, Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S Bowie St, San Benito, TX. with interment to follow at Las Rusias Cemetery.
