Sylvia de los Santos, 63, of San Benito, Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, May 15, 2023. Born in Victoria, Texas, Sylvia was a devout Catholic and single mother of two daughters. While she battled illness throughout her life Sylvia endured to provide the best care for daughters. Sylvia was kind, loving and always welcoming to friends and family. Sylvia is preceded in death by her father Cristel Gonzales, mother Ventura Gonzales, her brothers, Cristel Gonzales Jr., Jessie Gonzales, and her sister Rosa Smith. Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Samantha De los Santos (Manuel) and Victoria L. de los Santos; step-son, Juan de los Santos (Esmi); grandsons, Eric Matthew Smith Jr., Juan (Kylie) de los Santos Jr., Robert (Rose) de los Santos; granddaughter, Amber Rodriguez; sister, Delores (Abel) Gomez; and brothers, Raymond (Estela) Gonzales and Julio Gonzales. Church Service to be held at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church Wednesday May 24, at 10:00 am.
