Narciso "Chicho" Sanchez, 83, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on October 9, 2012 in Harlingen, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife Eudelia Sanchez, son Samuel Sanchez, daughter Maria Yolanda Sanchez, brother Martin Sanchez, and two sisters, Juanita Silva and Rufina Gonzalez. He is survived by his son, Juan (Esmeralda) Sanchez; and three daughters: Rosa Lidia (Ignacio) Lopez, Elvia Sanchez, and Minerva Sanchez; two granddaughters: Eudelia Sanchez and Kimberly (Jason) Lopez; five grandsons: Juan (Veronica) Sanchez Jr., Samuel Sanchez, Ruben (Monica) Lopez, Joel (Esmeralda) Lopez, and Gilbert Leroy Herrera; and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Brownsville.Committal service will follow at El Naranjo Cemetery in El Ranchito, Texas.
